BCM recognizes the pivotal role of women in shaping communities and societies. Through our initiatives, we strive to bridge the gaps by offering a lifeline of financial assistance and educational opportunities and creating an environment where women are valued, respected, and given equal opportunities. By empowering women economically, socially, and politically, we envision a future where gender equality becomes a reality, enriching the lives of not just women but entire communities.
A multipurpose care centre has been established to aid women who are vulnerable, and who have been marginalised, through no fault of their own.
Counselling on human rights awareness, where and whom to reach out to, and helpline numbers are provided to women seeking assistance. Awareness of educating their children and what the future holds for them is also provided.
Skills such as tailoring, painting, farming, cooking, soap and detergent making, and candle making are taught at the training centres. The teaching of these skills aims to empower women.
Many women we assist are also employed by the mission to do part-time work for us. This provides these women with small amounts of additional earnings.
